Meet Our International Peer Mentors
International Peer Mentors (IPMs) are current 91Ó°ÊÓ students who are passionate about making campus a welcoming place for new international students. Our goal is to make the transition to college life successful (and fun!) for new international students. IPMs work in the Center for Global Engagement, answer questions for new international students, and to help them find their community at 91Ó°ÊÓ. These IPMs were selected for their outstanding skills of communication, friendliness, reliability, knowledge of campus resources and passion for cultural diversity.

Ryunosuke Tago
Hi, I’m Ryu, a sophomore from Japan majoring in Physics at 91Ó°ÊÓ. I’m actively involved in the Karate Club in 91Ó°ÊÓ. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, learning new stuffs, and meeting new people. Oh, and I’ve lived in China and the Philippines so I could communicate in Chinese as well! I’m excited to connect with fellow international students and make the most of our time at 91Ó°ÊÓ!
